Well, a little information about me may be appropriate, I suppose ..
I've lived in Michigan all my life and in the Petoskey area since 1979.
Nothing fancy here. I retired from 'IT' work in the summer of 2018, although I have a part time job to supplement Social Security. My wife and I live in a Manufactured Home community, just north of Conway, MI. Normal folks.
Normal ... but concerned citizen when it comes to our local housing needs. I'm primarily interested helping the housing situation for those in the lower end of the financial ladder. I have been advocating for smaller minimum square foot houses, along with higher density. I'm a fan of clustered housing to promote a community atmosphere.
I am the Program Services Coordinator at Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity, and a member of the Little Traverse Bay Housing Partnership.
